Krishna Bahadur Mahara

S.L.C., Nepal (Liwang, Rolpa), I.Sc., T.U. Nepal (Nepalgunj), B.Ed., T.U. Nepal (Pokhara). A former Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal, Home Minister, Minister of Information and Communication. Standing Committee Member of and Former Constituent Assembly Member representing the Communist Party Nepal (Maoist). Previously served as Head of the International Division of the UCPN (Maoist), currently heads the Organizational Department of the party.

Dr. Shekhar Koirala

MD, Internal Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. Former Vice Chancellor BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal. Central Working Committee Member, Nepali Congress, and Coordinator, Intellectual and Professional Department, Nepali Congress. Former Constituent Assembly Member. Played a central role in the 12 Point Understanding and 2006 Peace Process that paved the way for the entry of the CPN Moaist into mainstream politics.

Dr. Durgesh Man Singh

BA, Distinction, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. MA, Economics, Delhi School of Economics. PhD, Economics, University of Florida, USA. Served as Senior Economist and Training Chief on Development Planning at the Center for Economic Development and Administration (CEDA). Subsequently served as Senior Economist at the Agricultural Projects Services Center. Assumed the position of Adviser to the National Planning Commission (NPC) for 3 years and then was appointed as full Member of the NPC in charge of economic analysis. First Resident Royal Nepalese Ambassador and Head of the Nepalese Mission to the European Union in Brussels, 1992. In 2007 was appointed as Nepalese Ambassador to the Republic of India.

Lieutenant General (retd.) Sadip Bahadur Shah

Masters Degree in Military Science. Professional Courses-Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, United Kingdom. John F. Kennedy Special Warfare School, Fort Bragg, USA. Defence Service Staff College, Wellington India, National Defense College, New Delhi, India. Served for 38 years, Commanded the Mid-West and Far West Divisions of the Nepal Army and retired as the Chief of the General Staff in 2005.

Kul Man Ghising

B.Sc. Engineering (Elect.) from RIT Jamshedpur, India; M. Sc. in Power System Engineering from Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk, Nepal; Executive MBA from ACE Institute of Management, Nepal. Attended several international trainings/workshops and seminars in the field of Project Management, Contract Administration and Energy Markets and presented papers on different energy issues. Served as a energy expert to the Natural Resource – Energy sub-committee of Constitution Assembly of Nepal during 2008 to 2012. Involved in Power Trading Business with Power Trading Corporation (PTC) of India and Bihar State Electricity Board on behalf of Nepal Electricity Authority several times. Conducted several price negotiation meetings for Power Purchase Agreement of hydropower projects. Has 18 years of long experience in Electricity Sector within Nepal Electricity Authority. Currently, he is Managing Director of Chilime Hydropower Company Limited, a most trusted listed Company in the Share Market and Chairman in its subsidiary Companies namely Rasuwagadhi hydropower Company Limited (Executing 111 MW Hydropower Project), Sanjen Jalvidyut Company Ltd. (Executing 57.3 MW Hydropower Projects) and Middle Bhotekoshi Jalvidhyut Company Ltd. (Executing 102 MW Hydropower Project).

Siddhant Raj Pandey

BA, Business Administration, Virginia Tech. MSc., Development Studies, Bristol University, United Kingdom. Executive program,International Finance, London School of Economics. Previously served as CEO of Ace Development Bank Ltd., Director of Business Development for Asia Pacific region at Riggs Bank, London, United Kingdom. Prior to that was a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch International Bank in London. Served as Chairman of the semi government Credit Information Bureau Limited. Currently, Chairman of White Lotus Centre Ltd (WLC), Nepal. He is a member of the Steering Committee on Public Private Partnership (PPP) at the National Planning Commission, Government of Nepal. He was appointed by the government, from the private sector as member of the Board of Directors of the Investment Committee of the Central Renewable Energy Fund (CREF). He is also on the advisory board of Microsoft Innovation Centre (Nepal).

Bhaskar Koirala

BA, Political Science, Distinction, University of California, Berkeley. MSc., Public Administration and Public Policy, London School of Economics. PhD Candidate (current), Diplomacy, School of International Studies, Peking University, People's Republic of China. Previously worked for the United Nations Development Program, Nepal. Conducted research under the auspices of the South Asian Network of Economic Research Institutes SANEI, New Delhi, India. Worked for the Poverty Alleviation Fund, Nepal. Served as Visiting Scholar at the China Institute of International Studies, Beijing, China and also as Research Assistant to Honorable Jaswant Singh, former Indian Minister of Defense, Finance and External Affairs. Concurrently serves as Director of NIISS.
